Mobius Band recorded IEmpire of Love/I in a friend’s empty house in North Bennington, VT just a couple weeks ago (yes - literally empty save for three rugs and a piano that couldn¹t be moved). They brought in all of the recording equipment and instruments along with sleeping bags, food, pans, etc. (just like camping!), set everything up in one room, decided what covers to record on the spot, and made this EP in four days.p
Last year’s ILove Will Reign Supreme/I included ambitious covers of Daft Punk, Neil Young, Daniel Johnston, The National, Casiotone For The Painfully Alone and Bob Dylan, and is still available for download a target=”_blank” href=”http://www.mobiusband.com/vday/”here/a.p
